11月9日佔中第四十三天

【22：45】熱血時報消息，今晚是RubberBand伊館演唱會最後一場，RubberBand在台上演唱《睜開眼》時，場內觀眾紛紛撐起雨傘，氣氛熱烈。

【22：00】金鐘現場，香港中大學生會長張秀賢登上大台，為昨晚阻攔市民發言一事道歉。

【22：00】澳門方面傳來消息，當地多處掛起來“澳門又要真普選”的手寫橫額。

【21：50】金鐘現場，學民思潮召集人黃之鋒登上大台，針對目前各方意見不統一的情況，他認為佔領者有不同的聲音是正常的。

【21：18】金鐘現場，一名女性市民登上大台演講，她說，她不明白為什麼9月28日後會突然有大台，突然有政黨在金鐘插旗。她說，假如政黨幾十年都爭取不到民主的話，倒不如讓年青一輩出來選吧。

【21：00】金鐘現場，在大台上發言的市民意見各異，有的強烈反對擴大佔領區，有的要求要合理佔領政總。大家暢所欲言，但體現出現在佔領市民的意見。

【20：50】金鐘現場，一直參與佔領旺角的Eric來到金鐘大會，他說金鐘和旺角不同，但大家不要被分化，不要太相信網上消息。很多傳言，最好到場親身了解才會清楚。

【18：00】民陣組織的遊行已經結束，參加遊行的市民在離開中聯辦前，在鐵馬上系滿了黃絲帶，很漂亮。

【16：20】觀塘偉業街天橋也出現“我要真普選”標語。

【15：00】深水埗發現大型“我要真普選”banner。

【14：00】學聯、學民思潮和多個泛民政黨成員及市民參與民陣發起的集會遊行，他們下午2點先在遮打花園集會，然後遊行到中聯辦，要求中央與學生對話和人大撤回決定。

【12：50】據《熱血時報》，梁振英今日中午在北京見記者，他指已經向習近平彙報香港各方面最新情況，包括佔領行動。梁振英指北京有兩個立場，分別為支持香港實行行政長官普選，以及依法辦事。

【06：00】旺角現場，集會人士迎接天亮，他們表示，他們在迎接屹立了28年的柏林圍牆倒下25周年的大日子。

【01：20】銅鑼灣現場經過一整日下雨之後，銅鑼灣部份示威標語都已經浸爛，留守者在凌晨時候重貼標語，並加上防水膠套。

其實，昨晚我在旺角所說的，並不是比較三個佔領區的參與者及附近社區，而是想說，雨傘運動要持續下去，我們要留意社會上三類型朋友，爭取他們的支持（所以，也不是「三個女朋友」....）。

第一類朋友，是支持運動，但不能直接參與的人。出於各種原因和壓力，他們無法放下自己的工作，又或未能親身到佔領區現場。佔領曠日持久下，不少同學在學業壓力下，也被迫重返校園，減少投入。我們無法怪責他們不投入，我們既然有能力比他們走得前一點，何妨思考更多不同的參與方式，降低他們的參與門檻，鼓勵他們踏出第一步？

第二類朋友，是支持今次運動爭取民主政制、港人命運自主的訴求，卻不認同以佔領街道為手段的人。他們也許是尚未認清今次運動對港人的共同未來至關重要，也許是對現在的膠著形勢失去信心，從而逐漸失去開初對運動的同情和耐性，寧願盡快回復正常生活。我們需要的是以親身經歷向他們說明，堅守街頭是我們目前想到最好的手段；我們知道停留於佔領，並不足以撼動中央，因此我們更需要共同討論，既然我們都有共同目標，下一步又可以如何。不是因為有了希望才堅持，而是因為堅持才有了希望！

第三類朋友，是對運動認知不足的人。這未必是他們的責任，而是在主流傳媒壟斷資訊的情況下，形成他們對運動的偏見，妨礙他們進一步了解和分析。我們要親身走到他們面前，心平氣和地與他們展開討論，說服他們，他們眼前所見的，不是外國勢力，也不是甚麼暴徒，只是一個與他們一樣，受壓迫的人，希望拿回基本公民權利、尊嚴的人。


回到社區，讓雨傘運動的力量和理念散播開去，爭取更多盟友站在我們一方，是當下我們必須要去做的工作。

"Here's the summary of what I said last night at MK: I wasn't trying to judge people and communities of the three occupying sites. We have to understand our varied sectors in the society. I think there're three main groups so far(not groupies):
People who support the movement but can't participate due to personal or work commitments. The last thing we want to do is blaming them for not joining. There're many ways that people can contribute to this movement and together we can think of ways that can encourage them to take the first step.

The second type of people are those who agree with the quest of democracy and self determination of HK but disagree with blocking the roads and inconveniencing the public etc. Either they might not be fully aware of the urgency of the future of HK or have started to get less patient and less sympathetic with the movement due to the impasse. They want to resume their normal lives. We know that simply occupying the roads at this point so far hasn't been able to shake BJ to the core, therefore it's even more important to engage new discussions on new ideas and strategies. We carry on not because there's hope, because there'll be hope.

The third types are those who are not well-informed of what's really been going on. Under the monopoly of mainstream media with their biased and imbalanced reporting, people can't think for themselves. With them we should be calm and talk to them face-to-face, that we aren't violent rioters or influenced by foreign powers; there's no us and them, we're the oppressed and we're all in the same boat, and we're here to claim back our civic rights and dignity.

The priority now it's to concentrate our effort to garner support from our communities and spread the ideals and missions of the Umbrella Movement."
